The Road Ahead by Thomas Merton
My Lord God, I have no idea where I am going. I do not see the road ahead of me. I cannot know for certain where it will end. Nor do I really know myself, and the fact that I think I am following your will does not mean that I am actually doing so. But I believe that the desire to please you does in fact please you. And I hope I have that desire in all that I am doing. I hope that I will never do anything apart from that desire. And I know that if I do this you will lead me by the right road, though I may know nothing about it. Therefore, I will trust you always though I may seem to be lost and in the shadow of death. I will not fear, for you are ever with me, and you will never leave me to face my perils alone. Amen.

BIBLE STUDY CLASSES:
DOODLING DISCIPLES - Sundays, February 19, March 18 & April (TBA) following 11:00 AM Service. Approximately 2.5 hours, light lunch provided. Focus on book: Praying In Color while exploring doodling and collage as a means of prayer and mediation. Contact Robyn K or Lorisa for information.
HEAVEN IS FOR REAL - Sundays evenings during Lent. Contact Mary Lynn G. for information.
WHAT'S THE LEAST I CAN BELIEVE AND STILL BE A CHRISTIAN? A guide to what matters most. Wednesday evenings during Lent. Group leader: Pastor George.
OPEN ME TO THE GATES - Sundays from 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm, in the Parlor (February 26 - April 1).
Focus on how gates are conceptually used throughout the Bible. Group will read a one-page daily reading for each of the 40 days of Lent. Sign-up sheet on bulletin board in South Hallway. Please sign up by February 19th. Group facilitator: Cheryl Carson.
